Is it expensive to make your own wine?

Your new wine equipment kit can pay for itself with your first batch of wine. For example - you may pay $75.00- $100.00 for an equipment kit, and maybe $60.00 for a decent Merlot ingredient kit. So, for about $150.00, you will produce 30 bottles of wine (about $5.00 each) easily as good as, often better than the commercial bottle you would have spent $10 to $15.00 to buy. Since you enjoyed the process and the end product, you decided to do it again. This time, your $60.00 Merlot kit made the same 30 bottles but at $2.00 each!
